Terms of Service

These terms govern your purchase and use of digital books published by The Principle Studio (“the Studio,” “we,” “us”), the sole-proprietor imprint of Phitsanuphong Sriphat, based in Bangkok, Thailand. By purchasing or downloading a book, you agree to these terms.

What we sell

We sell digital books (long-form non-fiction), delivered as watermarked PDF and EPUB files for a one-time price. You are buying a permanent personal copy, not a subscription. There is no physical product unless explicitly offered.

Payment and the seller of record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you buy a book, your order, payment, invoice, and any applicable sales tax or VAT are handled by Paddle under Paddle’s Buyer Terms. We do not see or store your card details.

Your licence

On purchase, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read the book for your own use. Each copy is watermarked with the buyer’s details. You may not resell, redistribute, share, upload, sublicense, or publicly post the files, in whole or in part. You may not remove or alter the watermark.

Intellectual property

All text, design, and content remain the property of the author. Your purchase grants the reading licence above and nothing further. Brief quotation for review or commentary, with attribution, is permitted.

Delivery

After a successful purchase you receive an email with a download link for your watermarked files. If a link expires or fails, contact us and we will reissue it.

Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy and Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Because books are delivered immediately as per-buyer watermarked files, please read that policy before purchasing.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The books are provided “as is,” as works of ideas and analysis, not as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Studio is not liable for any decision made on the basis of a book’s contents, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Statutory consumer rights in your own country of residence still apply where relevant.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here on the date of your purchase.
